Clinical Assessment Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all inquiries regarding services at Eating Recovery Center from intial contact to admission to the facility, including collaboration with referral sources and insurance companies.
Position Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- 2-4 years related intake/clinical assessment experience or equivalent
- Experience working with eating disorders in the past or clear desire to work with this population is desired
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Patient Care Assistant
Responsibilities:
Patient Care Assistants provide patient supervision and support on the IP/RES unit, provide structure and support to therapeutic program on the IP/RES; ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Position Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Previous direct patient care experience with some administrative skills as well
- Experience working with eating disorders in the past or clear desire to work with this population is desired
- Comfortable eating meals with patients, modeling healthy behaviors
- A valid Driver’s License including a clean MVR record
Family Therapist
Responsibilities:
Counsels individuals or groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, eating disorders or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plan in medical setting by performing the following duties.
Position Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in mental health field, must be licensed. Ideal candidate will have LMFT licensure
- Skilled in providing both individual and family therapy
- Minimum of 2 years experience with eating disorders
- Experience in a fast paced environment
- Experienced working in inpatient and/or residential treatment centers a plus
- EMDR training and CAC preferred
- Knowledge of DBT and CBT required; Training in Maudsley/Family Based Treatment (FBT) preferred
- History of working with patients with complex medical and psychological challenges a plus
Registered Nurse
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse is in charge of the patients’ bio-psycho, social-spiritual needs 24 hours per day, 7 days a week on the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to meet these needs. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the overall nursing unit functioning while on duty.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.N.) from four-year college or university
- 1-3 years experience with at least on year in Med Surg, ICU or critical care environment
- Experience working with eating disorders in the past or clear desire to work with this population is desired
- Comfortable eating meals with patients and modeling healthy behaviors
- Proven ability to express empathy and build long term relationships with patients
Milieu Coordinator, PRN Shift
Responsibilities:
Provide constant and comprehensive patient supervision and support, facilitate psycho-educational groups, provide structure and contribute to implementation of therapeutic programming including experiential therapy, bathroom and meal-time support; ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university with emphasis on Sociology or Psychology
- One year related milieu experience and/or training
- Experience working with eating disorders in the past or clear desire to work with this population is desired
- Comfortable eating meals with patients, modeling healthy behaviors
- A valid Driver’s License including a clean MVR record
