Family/Caregiver EFFT Two-Day Workshop

Apr 6, 2020 @ 9:00 AM CST - 4:00 PM CST |  The Council on Recovery, 303 Jackson Hill St. Houston, TX

We are teaming up with EFFT Texas, Monday, April 6 to Tuesday, April 7, 2020, for a two-day workshop— Emotion-Focused Family Therapy Caregiver Workshop.

Whether a caregiver is a parent, sibling, spouse or significant other, EFFT clinicians support the caregiver to implement interventions using emotion coaching and create hope for families even when treatment is refused.

EFFT recognizes that caregivers struggle to “do what is needed” because of fear, shame or other emotions that “block” them. This training is meant to empower the caregiver to process these blocks and thus allowing the relationship to take on an active and important role in healing.
