Kathleen Reeves brings over 25 years of healthcare experience, ranging from the direct delivery of patient care as a clinical clinician to the provision of administrative oversight in various director- and executive-level positions. In her current role, Kathleen is tasked with operational strategy development, planning and execution for Eating Recovery Center’s Denver-based facilities, including facility development and expansion, accreditation/licensing, patient housing, transportation and food service. She provides leadership and direct supervision to numerous manager and director-level positions to ensure compliance and excellence in this wide range of operational divisions in the behavioral healthcare space.
Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center’s executive team, Kathleen served as Director of Family Services at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She also held a decade-long tenure in administrative operations roles at the Colorado Division of Columbia/HCA. As Coordinator of Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Programs and Eating Treatment Center, Kathleen was directly responsible for overall administration of assigned clinical programs, including an eating disorders treatment program offering inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient levels of care. She was later named Manager of Partial and Outpatient Services, where she was tasked with overseeing multi-departmental operations of Support Line, Eating Disorders and Dual Diagnosis partial hospitalization programs. Having held positions as a counselor and leader in eating disorders treatment, hospital and university settings provided Kathleen with valuable perspective and insight in her subsequent healthcare administration and management roles.
Kathleen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology as well as a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Illinois State University, and actively maintains her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials.
