Ashley Solomon, PsyD, CEDS
Director of Clinical Outreach
Dr. Ashley Solomon is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring conditions. She has spent her career dedicated to helping patients and families navigate these difficult illnesses, as well as engaging in training, prevention, and advocacy efforts.
 
She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Xavier University, where she researched the role of media literacy interventions in the prevention of body image distress and eating disorder symptoms.
 
Dr. Solomon began her career at Eating Recovery Center in 2010, and since then has served in various leadership roles with a common mission of supporting patients and families in accessing the highest quality care. She opened the Eating Recovery Center, Ohio program in 2015 to bring much-needed services to her hometown of Cincinnati.
 
Dr. Solomon is active in the field of behavioral health, particularly through the Academy for Eating Disorders where she serves as co-chair of the Experts by Experience Committee. She has a special interests in the delivery of evidence-based treatment and the important role of technology in supporting access to care.  
 
Dr. Solomon joined the outreach team in 2019 to help build community partnerships and spread further light on the intricacies of behavioral health. She is dedicated to building a world in which conversations about mental health happen openly and honestly.
