Tis’ The Season For Being Well

Truly, being well is something that we should all focus on year round. It is safe to say we have all been impacted in some way, by emotions, comments and actions of our family, friends, communities and our nation. It is important to stay focused on yourself and your own well-being especially during chaos and stress. Eating Recovery Center would like to invite you to join us for two powerful webinars intended to support your well-being. These webinars are for anyone interested in attending, please feel free to share this invitation with anyone you think may benefit.

Remain Skillful and Maintain Well-Being During the Holiday Season

Date: November 30th Time: 1:00pm Mountain Time
Register Here

We are often overwhelmed with messages during the holidays suggesting we should only be feeling happy and joyful. These messages can invalidate other emotions and contribute to an increase of depression and anxiety in many individuals living in recovery.

Dr. Andrea Stone, PsyD, Director of Mood and Anxiety Program, and Ana Agarrat, Recovery Ambassador Council member will review specific DBT skills that Ana finds useful to increase her emotional resiliency during the holiday season. These DBT skills from the Emotion Regulation and Mindfulness Modules can serve as useful tools for maintaining well-being during the holiday season for recovering individuals.
