Chief Marketing Officer Julie Holland Faylor, MHS, CEDS is the National Eating Disorders Examiner. Read an excerpt below from her blog post "Advocating eating disorder recovery: introducing Robyn Cruze": From time to time, we meet people that change our lives. Robyn Cruze is one of these people for me and for so many others struggling to overcome an eating disorder or live a meaningful life of recovery. I want to introduce her to you via my blog. Robyn Cruze is a coach, speaker, author and advocate dedicated to inspiring individuals to define their own beauty, worth and purpose as a payoff to eating disorder recovery. Robyn found recovery from an eating disorder that crippled her spirit for over a decade, and has committed her recovery to sharing her story with others. In 2013, she published Making Peace with Your Plate with co-author and eating disorder clinician Espra Andrus, LCSW. The book “smashes the illusion of control, the power and the lies of the deadly illness of disordered eating, providing a practical plan for long-term recovery.” Robyn has a Master's degree in Solo Performance from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has worked as a professional actor in film, TV and theater across Australia and the United Kingdom. She writes regularly about nutrition, body image healing and eating disorder recovery, and is also the author of a children's affirmation book, Lovely Dreams.
