Support the Eating Recovery Center Foundation on Colorado Gives Day

Leslie

Leslie McKay, Executive Director of the Eating Recovery Center Foundation shares important information on how you can support the Foundation on Colorado Gives Day, no matter where in the world you live. Did you know that eating disorders affect more than 30 million Americans with significant, long-lasting effects on individuals, families and communities? Did you know there is no place as equipped and capable to help people recover their lives from what an eating disorder robs them and their families of than Eating Recovery Center? The work of Eating Recovery Center Foundation is just starting and there is so much more to be done! The Eating Recovery Center Foundation was founded as a 501(c) (3) in 2012 by eating disorder experts with the highest respect and compassion for patients, families and professionals touched by these serious illnesses. The Foundation’s mission is simple—to raise eating disorders awareness and expand treatment accessibility to improve the lives of those suffering from eating disorders. The most impactful tools to combat eating disorders are education, research and charitable care. When you make a donation to Eating Recovery Center Foundation on Colorado Gives Day, December 8, 2015, you support these three life-changing initiatives, offering recovery to those who need it most. The magnitude of the work we do is significantly impacting the lives of loved ones, from ages eight to eighty, and why we are asking you to support our commitment to the cause. The Foundation is located in Denver, Colorado. This is our first foray into our community and we couldn’t be more proud to participate in this amazing day, united in the spirit of giving! When you give on this special day, your gift goes even further, as a result of the First Bank Incentive Fund. Please make a meaningful gift on Colorado Gives Day, December 8, 2015. Don’t want to wait until the 8th? You can even preschedule your donation now! Thank you for your gift of recovery.
