Thank You, Candace Cameron Bure, For Generating a National Conversation About Eating Disorders
We are so proud — and grateful — that Candace Cameron Bure joined us as a Recovery Ambassador during our first-ever Eating Recovery Day on May 3.
Thanks to Candace, there’s greater awareness about the prevalence and seriousness of eating disorders. Thanks to Candace, others have hope that they, too, can one day celebrate freedom from their own eating disorder. And, thanks to Candace breaking the stigma of silence, news outlets across the nation followed her lead and joined the national conversation about eating disorders.
Over the last few days, we’ve shared with you some of the articles and broadcast segments that featured Candace as our National Recovery Ambassador. However, those were just the beginning!
There have been dozens of news features about Eating Recovery Day that have reached millions of people. We couldn’t possibly have shared them all individually, so we are sharing them here with you now.
