Last week we celebrated Eating Recovery Day with the theme “#DontMissIt.” Our goal was to come together as a community to talk about eating disorders in as many ways and places as we could. We are overwhelmed by your support and commitment to increasing awareness and removing the stigma about eating disorders. Today, we would like to showcase just some of your truly inspiring contributions to Eating Recovery Day 2017.

We applaud these celebrities who consistently use their public platform to speak out against body shaming and encourage body positivity. For those who’ve experienced their own struggles with eating disorders, we are grateful that they have honestly and bravely told their story as a way to raise awareness and remove the stigma of mental illnesses.
