Leadership Spotlight Q&A: Jennifer Moran, PsyD, Clinical Manager & College Liaison
Can you tell us about your background as a Clinical Manager and College Liaison and how it shaped your career today?
I am fortunate to have two roles within ERC and Pathlight. First, I am a Clinical Manager for Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center Maryland. I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan who present with a variety of diagnoses and work with couples and families who are navigating an eating disorder diagnosis within the family. In my second role, I serve as the College Liaison to colleges and universities on the East Coast. As the College Liaison, I am able to use my previous experience as an eating disorder specialist at a university counseling center to offer free consultation, trainings and referral assistance for college health professionals.
What makes ERC and Pathlight’s treatment approach unique and why did you join the team?
One thing I am most proud of about ERC and Pathlight Maryland is that we are dedicated to using evidence-based best practices. Our treatment program is always evolving to really reflect what current research suggests is most effective in helping people to recover. Our team is comprised of some of the most experienced, compassionate and competent professionals in the field. As a clinician, it’s rewarding to be in an environment that supports my own professional development and encourages all of us to provide the best care possible to our patients.
