Eating Recovery Center Announces New Outpatient Medical Clinic in Denver
New clinic to welcome current and former eating disorder patients and provide Colorado-based healthcare professionals with services for patients of any age whom they believe may be suffering from an eating disorder
Eating Recovery Center (ERC), the only national, vertically integrated, health care system dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders, has announced the opening of its brand new Outpatient Medical Clinic in Denver, Colorado. Beginning June 15, ERC’s new clinic will offer expert diagnostic and monitoring services for healthcare providers who believe their patients may be suffering from eating disorders, as well as offer options to former and current patients of ERC. The clinic will be led by the expertise of ERC’s Dr. Philip Mehler, Executive Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Jennifer Watts, Director of Outpatient Medical Services.
“Eating Recovery Center is pleased to offer this new service to our former and current patients, and to new patients who are especially in of outpatient resources to address their medical concerns,” said Mehler. “Eating disorder patients are faced with tremendous medical issues. Our new Outpatient Medical Clinic will address those issues by providing unequivocal care for those who are suffering, as well as support for their families.”
Any healthcare provider that believes their patient may be suffering from an eating disorder can refer the individual—no matter what age or gender—to ERC for a specialty consultation that is covered by most health insurance carriers. Services will also be offered to Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient individuals that are currently in treatment for eating disorders.
ERC’s Outpatient Medical Clinic will welcome patients that are:
- Direct referrals from Intensive Outpatient Programs

The Outpatient Medical Clinic will be located at ERC’s Conifer location at 8190 East 1st Avenue in Denver. For additional information or to refer a patient, call (720) 324-2052 to speak with a Master’s-level eating disorder clinician.
