Medical Director, Primary Care Physician

Dr. Kristine Walsh, a Los Angeles native, is a board certified family medicine physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Magna Cum Laude from the University of California Riverside.  She then completed a 4 year dual degree program at Tulane University where she received both an MD and an MPH in Maternal and Child Health and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  She completed her family medicine residency at St Joseph Hospital in Denver in 2003.  She joined Eating Recovery Center in 2009 after several years practicing family medicine in an outpatient setting.  She currently treats children, adolescents, and adults at the inpatient, residential, and PHP levels of care.  Dr. Walsh is an Medical Director at Eating Recovery Center and is licensed in every state that ERC has a presence.  She has co-authored several articles and book chapters on the medical complications of eating disorders and enjoys educating others whenever she has the chance.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her 3 daughters, and her adorable chocolate rescue lab, Harvey.
