Robert Cameron, MSN, RN

Nursing Director

Rob has been a nurse since 2004 working in a variety of clinical settings, primarily as an Emergency Room nurse at Denver Health Medical Center. During his tenure at Denver Health, Rob had the opportunity to help establish the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition unit as the first charge nurse and nurse educator, working with the physicians at Denver Health and Eating Recovery Center to develop policy and patient care standards to ensure safe and effect care of the patients on the unit.

This introduced Rob to his passion for behavioral health. Rob was the Director of Behavioral Services at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC and most recently the Chief Nursing Officer at Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville. His passion for nursing and for the care of behavioral health patients is what brought him to ERC.

Rob is a Colorado native who loves living here and all that Colorado has to offer. In his free time he loves spending time and traveling with his teenage daughter. Rob is also a competitive weightlifter, competing at the national and international level, as well as a nationally certified weightlifting coach and loves teaching, mentoring and coaching not only athletes but the nurses he works with daily. Additionally, Rob is a professional Santa Claus and spends the Christmas season each year bring joy and smiles to children, families and businesses throughout the metro area.
