Designed for Eating Recovery Center (ERC) families and friends who have adult loved ones currently or previously in treatment, this series is delivered in a virtual format in the comfort of your home. It’s never been easier to empower yourself with the knowledge and confidence you’ll need to be there for your loved one during this important time.
This four-course virtual education series will give you the information and tools you need to support your loved one in their recovery. We recommend registering for the full four-course series using the one-click registration below in order to have the best possible experience. Courses rotate every four weeks and include:
Week 1 - Tools for Connection and Confident Communication With Your Love One
This course provides an overview of Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. The Advanced Caregiver Skills described will help you further support your loved one's healing and recovery process.
Week 2 - What’s Food Got To Do With It? - Our Nutrition Approach
This course provides an overview of the ERC Nutrition Approach. We will discuss the myths around nutrition and will provide best practices and support tips. We will help you understand your role in supporting your loved one when it comes to nutrition.
Week 3 - Can My Loved One Heal? Let Us Show You How
This course provides an overview on eating disorders and associated medical factors. We will discuss both the medical complications and our approach to supporting healing.
