Caregivers, families, and care providers often join together to determine the best treatment options to promote recovery for patients facing mental health concerns. This can be a daunting process. In this presentation we will explore different levels of care for mental health treatment, their qualifying criteria, and hallmarks that signify a transition to a higher level of care is the best course of action. Discussion includes how providers can support families and caregivers in making informed decisions about care transitions and how they can partner in supporting patients as they make these transitions.
