Presented by

Hannah Sharkey, RDN, LDN
The purpose of this presentation is to introduce and learn more about RO DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and how it can be applied in dietetics, specifically for patients that are over-controlled. “RO DBT is now recognized as an ‘Empirically Supported Treatment’ by the Society of Clinical Psychology, Division 12 of the American Psychological Association.” Attendees will leave with practical skills from RO DBT curriculum to foster rapport and connection in the treatment of over-controlled patients with ED.

- Explain what RO DBT is and how it differentiates from traditional DBT.
- List the differences of Fatalistic Mind, Fixed Mind and Flexible Mind.
