Let's face it, we can't avoid stress. It happens! We can, however, learn to effectively cope with it and continue to lead productive and fulfilling lives. This presentation provides in-depth discussion on the impacts of stress on the body and helpful tools to manage stress in the moment.

Following this presentation, participants will be able to...

  • Define stress and describe the typical presentation of symptoms
  • Explain the body’s physical reactions to stress
  • Identify three therapeutic skills that can be used to alleviate stress
