In college, and especially on social media, it can easily feel like we are the only ones struggling with our mental health. But the truth is, we aren't alone. The more we talk about mental health in safe spaces, the more we heal.
This Suicide Prevention Month, let’s come together to discuss the mental health issues affecting us, our friends and our teammates. Join Say It Brave on Campus to hear stories from people impacted by suicide and learn about important resources for mental health. In partnership with The Madison Holleran Foundation and Morgan’s Message, please join us on September 28 to remember that “You Don't Have to Do It Alone.”
At this event, you will:
- Hear from loved ones of Madison Holleran and Morgan Rodgers
- Learn about important mental health resources, including the Morgan’s Message Ambassador Program and free support groups for students and student athletes
- Help students get involved with nonprofits working to equalize the treatment between mental and physical health
* We’re aware that these topics may be sensitive and encourage you to involve mental health providers on your campus with your Watch Party. Please contact SayItBrave@ERCPathlight.com for any assistance in coordinating your Watch Party, or to be connected with a mental health professional who can attend.
** If you are struggling with a mental health crisis, please call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Support Lifeline.
Please note, if you attend the event on September 26th, viewers will have a dedicated time for Q&A with the presenters. If you are unable to attend on this date, registrants will be sent the recorded presentation. You must register to receive the event on-demand.
