We understand that supporting a loved one with an eating disorder is a tremendous responsibility and all members of the family – caregivers, spouses, partners, siblings – need access to accurate information, and deserve the support of a knowledgeable, compassionate community.

As part of our commitment to provide family members the support they need, we have formed a closed Facebook group:

Eating Disorders Family Connection (EDFC)

EDFC is community that any family member of a loved one with an eating disorder may join – regardless of where your loved one has sought treatment or is along his or her path of treatment and recovery.

EDFC is staffed by Masters-level clinicians from ERC who will ensure that community members have access to credible information and helpful resources. Our group is a place where parents, spouses, siblings, partners and other caregivers can ask questions and connect with others who share similar experiences, hopes and fears.

In EDFC, we encourage and inspire one another. We believe recovery is possible, and worth it.

If you are caring for a family member with an eating disorder, click here to join Eating Disorders Family Connection, hosted by Eating Recovery Center.

Together we can support one another throughout your loved one’s journey to recovery.
