The postdoctoral fellowship training program is a year-long experience designed to meet all criteria required for licensure in Illinois.

ERC Insight offers 2-4 postdoctoral fellowship positions per year, depending on the needs of the training site.  The fellowship is designed to help fellows strengthen generalist skills while developing an area of specialization. Responsibilities include providing individual, family, and group therapy, case management duties and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. All fellows participate in individual and group supervision, didactic and specialty seminars, staff meetings and case conferences.

Areas of Specialty Training for Fellowship

  • Eating Disorders Program
  • Binge Eating Treatment and Recovery Program
  • Mood and Anxiety Program
  • Adolescent Program

Applications for postdoctoral fellowship are due on January 1st of each year. ERC-Insight follows APPIC Postdoctoral Fellowship Selection Guidelines.  Interviews typically take place late January and early February; offers are made in late February in accordance with the APPIC Universal Notification Date.  Applications received after the APPIC offer date will only be considered if there are postdoctoral fellowship positions that remain unfilled.  The start date for postdoctoral fellowships is the Monday following Labor Day (September 9, 2019) and fellowships end on August 31st each year.
Interested applicants should email a cover letter, a current Curriculum Vita, 3 letters of recommendation, and a copy of graduate school transcripts to Anne Kubal, Ph.D., CEDS-S, Director of Clinical Training, at Anne.Kubal@ERCInsight.com.
