Eating Recovery Center of San Antonio’s eating disorder treatment facility has been developed and is overseen by a compassionate team of experts across many behavioral health disciplines. The multidisciplinary leadership team at Eating Recovery Center, San Antonio is comprised of clinical, medical and dietetic professionals with extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders. In addition to shaping the leading-edge eating disorder treatment philosophy and programming at Eating Recovery Center, San Antonio, these experts provide compassionate care to patients and families and regularly deliver education about eating disorders to the community of referring professionals.

Ramona Weatherford, LCSW, CEDS
Texas Regional Director of Operations

Ramona Weatherford holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University and has over 30 years of clinical experience. In the last 15 years of her career, Ramona has focused on the management and operations side of clinical practices. Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center of Dallas, Ramona spent 14 years managing the eating disorder unit at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Ramona joined Eating Recovery Center in May 2014 and was instrumental in the opening of Eating Recovery Center of Dallas in July 2014.

Landry Weatherston-Yarborough, LPC, NCC –Clinical Director

Landry is the Clinical Director at Eating Recovery Center, San Antonio. She works with individuals, families, and groups in the Child and Adolescent Program. Landry received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University and her Master of Education degree in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University.

John Woods, MBA – Practice Manager for ERCSA

John Woods holds a MBA from Lamar University. John has focused his career on the management and operations of healthcare facilities. John joined Eating Recovery Center, San Antonio in November 2016.


Michael Lutter MD/PhD - Team Psychiatrist

Dr. Lutter is a physician-scientist who has been a leader in the fields of eating disorders, depression, and anxiety for the past 12 years. Dr. Lutter completed combined MD and PhD training in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2003 before completing the research-track of the Psychiatry Residency Program at UT Southwestern. He joined the Psychiatry Department as a faculty member in 2008 began a research program on the interaction of mood and feeding with a special focus on Eating Disorders. In 2012 he joined the Faculty of the Psychiatry Department at the University of Iowa where he identified the first two rare genetic mutations associated with Anorexia Nervosa. In 2016 he joined the Eating Recovery Center-Dallas to continue working on his genetic research while seeing patients in their newly opened Inpatient Hospital.

He has published 28 original research papers, written 7 review articles, and contributed 3 book chapters. In addition, he has regularly presented at national and international meetings including the Society for Neuroscience, the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, and the International Conference on Eating Disorders. He continues to pursue his passion of using translational neuroscience approaches to improve the treatment of patients with eating disorders, depression, and anxiety.
