Our Team

The multidisciplinary leadership team at Eating Recovery Center, San Antonio is comprised of clinical, medical and dietetic professionals with extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders. In addition to shaping the leading-edge eating disorder treatment philosophy and programming at Eating Recovery Center, San Antonio, these experts provide compassionate care to patients and families and regularly deliver education about eating disorders to the community of referring professionals.


Carolyn Jones, RN, LPC, CEDS, CEDRN
Senior Clinical Manager

Carolyn Jones, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Nurse (RN), returns to ERC after developing the center’s nursing department and serving as the Director of Nursing from 2008-2013. In between, she developed an outpatient eating disorder private practice in Denver. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Counselor Education. Jones is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Nurse (CEDRN) with more than 24 years of experience. She is a past president of the Denver Metro Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), an iaedp-approved supervisor, and sits on the national certification committee for iaedp.


Ramona Weatherford, LCSW, CEDS
Texas Regional Director of Operations

Ramona Weatherford holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University and has over 30 years of clinical experience. In the last 15 years of her career, Ramona has focused on the management and operations side of clinical practices. Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center of Dallas, Ramona spent 14 years managing the eating disorder unit at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Ramona joined Eating Recovery Center in May 2014 and was instrumental in the opening of Eating Recovery Center of Dallas in July 2014.
