Director of Clinical Assessment

Jessica Truitt is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who serves as the Director of Clinical Assessment at Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2013 and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Texas in 2015. Jessica joined ERC in Dallas in 2016, beginning her career as a Milieu Coordinator before transitioning to a Primary Therapist role. Throughout her clinical career, she has worked across all levels of care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment, supporting both adult and child and adolescent populations. In 2020, Jessica transitioned to admissions as a Clinical Assessment Specialist and advanced through supervisor and manager roles before becoming Director of Clinical Assessment in January 2026. Having spent much of her career at Eating Recovery Center, Jessica developed an early passion for eating disorder treatment that has continued to deepen over time. She is particularly committed to helping individuals access the care they need and supporting her team in delivering compassionate, professional, and thoughtful guidance throughout the admissions process, regardless of whether treatment is the right next step at that moment. Jessica believes that every interaction during the admissions process is an opportunity to help individuals and families feel heard, supported, and better equipped to navigate their path toward recovery.
