She brings a strong foundation in neuroscience, a compassionate presence, and a growing dedication to psychiatric care that aligns seamlessly with our multidisciplinary model.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Katerina began her academic journey at the University of Minnesota, where she studied neuroscience and developed a deep curiosity about the brain and behavior. Katerina earned her master’s in physician assistant studies at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. During her clinical rotations, she gained specialized experience in behavioral medicine, treating individuals across the lifespan with anxiety, depression, psychotic features, PTSD, personality disorders, substance use, and trauma. She also worked in diverse community health settings, where she provided trauma-informed care to underserved populations including adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, and recent immigrants.

Her clinical approach is grounded in empathy, patient education, and thoughtful integration of medical and therapeutic care. Katerina is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Colorado Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, Moose and Pepper, as well as weightlifting, reading, and exploring new coffee spots around Denver.
