Biography

Lori Schwartz, MD is an attending psychiatrist at the Eating Recovery Center’s residential and partial hospitalization programs focusing on eating disorders as well as mood, anxiety and trauma disorders, and has extensive experience in treating adults, adolescents and children in all levels of care. Prior to her current role, Dr. Schwartz served as an attending psychiatrist at the center’s intensive outpatient program and outpatient practice. Before joining the Eating Recovery Center, Dr. Schwartz served as the medical director of the intensive outpatient program at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt where she also maintained an outpatient practice and served as a member of its dialectic behavioral therapy outpatient program. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Schwartz is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Dr. Lori Schwartz is a dual board-certified psychiatrist with a board certification in General Psychiatry and a subspeciality board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Schwartz completed her psychiatry residency and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt. Dr. Schwartz earned her medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine.
