Dr. Radha Nagireddy is a psychiatrist at our Hunt Valley, Maryland Pathlight location, where she provides compassionate and personalized care to individuals seeking mental health support. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she distinguished herself as Chief Resident at the VA Hospital. Dr. Nagireddy earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas and was honored as a Global Distinction Scholar. Her extensive training includes proficiency in various psychiatric treatments, including ECT, deep TMS, and esketamine, as well as experience with several electronic medical record systems such as Epic, Cerner, and CPRS.

Dr. Nagireddy’s research interests include mental health, substance use, and quality improvement. She has contributed to multiple published studies, including research on HPV vaccination attitudes and phenibut dependence. During her residency, she also led a quality improvement project to increase the use of the PHQ-9 screening tool among psychiatry residents, which was presented at the 2023 GME Research Forum. She has a strong foundation in both clinical care and research, having participated in studies examining the impact of 9/11 on children and adolescents and contributing to studies on mental health in primary care settings.

Outside of her clinical and academic work, Dr. Nagireddy has a passion for volunteering. She has worked internationally in South America and India, providing medical care in underserved communities and strengthening her cultural competency and language skills. She is also committed to teaching, having participated in the Residents as Teachers program to enhance her ability to mentor and educate medical students. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Nagireddy enjoys a variety of hobbies, including rock climbing, strategy board games, and exploring gourmet food.
