Grieving the Loss of Your Eating Disorder

It is surprisingly common to feel strong feelings of grief as you recover from an eating disorder. I've heard from many people who tell me that they miss their eating disorder, even well into recovery. All types of grief are complex. Grieving an eating disorder is no different. Here are some tips that I share with my patients when dealing with grief in eating disorder recovery.
