Supporting a young adult in recovery can feel overwhelming—especially during times of change. You may find yourself constantly asking:
Am I helping too much… or not enough?
When should I step in, and when should I step back?
You’re not alone in these questions—and getting the balance right can make a meaningful difference in your loved one’s recovery. Join us on June 9 for a free virtual event designed for parents and other caregivers supporting emerging adults (age ~18-25) navigating recovery from eating disorders, anxiety or mood disorders, or trauma. This event will give you practical, real-world guidance to help you support your loved one with more confidence.
In this session, you’ll learn:
What’s happening when recovery and emerging adulthood intersect, and why it can be especially challenging to navigate as a caregiver
How to find the right balance between offering support and encouraging independence
Simple, effective ways to communicate that strengthen trust and connection
How to set compassionate limits while still supporting emotional and behavioral needs
Practical examples, tools and resources to help you feel more confident in your role as a caregiver
Can’t attend live? No problem. Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording to watch on your own schedule. If you’ve ever felt unsure about how to best support your young adult, this conversation is for you.
