This presentation includes a review of what treatment looks like for those diagnosed with an eating disorder and how recovery impacts their life. With this focus, a great amount of time will be spent on discussing practical tools and ways in which to offer emotional and practical support in the school, the college and the work setting. With lived experience, anecdotes and an abundance of resources attendees are guaranteed a unique, practical experience. Q & A portion follows the talk.

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.0 clinical continuing education credits.
Eating Recovery Center, LLC is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR credentialed practitioners will receive 1.0 continuing professional education units (CPEU) for completion of this activity.
