Session 6: Helping Your Loved One Engage in Treatment
Ambivalence, anxiety, resistance, and difficulty recognizing the seriousness of the illness can all be part of an eating disorder. This session helps caregivers understand these challenges and offers practical approaches for reducing accommodation, setting supportive limits, responding to anxiety, and helping a loved one remain engaged through the recommended course of treatment.
