This 4-week educational series is designed for family members and friends of individuals recovering from Binge Eating Disorder (BED). Participants will gain a foundational understanding of BED—its causes, challenges, and impact—while exploring the harms of dieting, the influence of cultural ideals and the rise of weight-loss medications like GLP-1 agonists. The series will highlight the importance of supportive, non-restrictive approaches to nutrition and movement, and provide practical tools for fostering empathy, encouragement, and lasting recovery.
Together, we’ll focus on building a compassionate support network that promotes healing and long-term well-being.
This series is open to anyone but will be covering topics and focusing discussions on those supporting a loved one with binge eating disorder.
