Biography
April Hayden is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Manager at Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center in Seattle, WA. Her areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, and trauma with experience working in residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. She is also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ population and utilizes a person-centered strengths-based approach with all of her clients.
April earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio from Western Washington University and a Master of Social Work from University of Washington. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She completed training and supervision with Dr. Kathleen Chard to become an official CPT Provider and shares her expertise in trauma treatment with therapists at Pathlight through regular case consultation.
