Biography
Kaylyn Muscarello graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Tarleton State University with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. Kaylyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has met requirements and applied for Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) licensure through The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). Kaylyn worked for the Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network in Waco, Texas for seven years in both a case management and clinical setting. Kaylyn’s passion is creating suicide safer communities and helping individuals heal from trauma to cultivate a life of joy and purpose. Kaylyn specializes in treating eating disorders and advocates for trauma-informed, culturally inclusive, and equitable care. Kaylyn currently works at Eating Recovery At Home, ERC’s virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP), in the adult program. Kaylyn is a certified yoga instructor and believes in holistic intervention to unite both mind and body when they are often at war with one another. Kaylyn is committed to delivering high quality recovery services and providing further education on food and body disturbance to increase detection and prevention in our communities.
