I'm your Senior Vice President of Clinical Services

Melissa Spann serves as the SVP of Clinical Services at ERC Pathlight, where she oversees clinical, nutrition, and nursing teams across the organization.

Dr. Spann is a dedicated clinician, supervisor, and leader with deep expertise in the treatment of complex eating disorders, program development, and clinical operations. She is also an experienced presenter and educator, known for her ability to translate evidence-based practices into patient-centered care.

She is an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, where she currently serves as Member-at-Large and has previously contributed to the national certification committee, education committee, and supervision faculty.

Dr. Spann is a Cognitive Processing Therapy provider and a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200). She is also the author of Building and Maintaining Authentic Relationships in Eating Disorder and Body Image Therapy (2026, Routledge).

A native Floridian, she lives in Miami with her husband, two teenagers, and their dog.
