Biography

Dr. Tollie Taylor is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She graduated from Texas A&M University and then went to medical school at UT Houston Medical School, graduating in 2004. Following graduation, she entered the Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she remained to complete a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program at Children's Medical Center and served as Chief Fellow.

It was during her training at Children's Medical Center that she met Dr. Stephanie Setliff and Dr. Tyler Wooten, who were involved in the education of the residents and fellows. Dr. Taylor immediately took an interest in the treatment of eating disorders and started to spend extra time on the unit whenever she could. Upon completion of training in 2009, she joined the Department of Psychiatry at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She was on staff there for almost nine years, and for the last five years she ran the Psychiatry Partial Hospitalization Program.
