Biography
Tracey Cornella-Carlson, MD, CEDS-S, DFAACAP, is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist-licensed in Wisconsin, California and Texas-who has treated patients with eating disorders for over 15 years. Prior to joining ERC, she was the Co-Founder and Medical Director of The REDI Clinic and previously served as the Medical Director of Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Services at Rogers Memorial Hospital for 10 years.
Dr. Cornella-Carlson is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and IAEDP-approved supervisor. She previously served as the Certification Chairperson for the Heartland chapter of IAEDP. She was honored as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, primarily due to her contributions to the eating disorder field. As a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders, she served as co-chair for the Child and Adolescent Special Interest Group.
Dr. Cornella-Carlson received her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1992. She then completed a three-year general psychiatry residency and a two-year fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry as Chief Fellow at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Cornella-Carlson was recognized and profiled as one of Castle Connelly’s “Top Doctors” by Milwaukee Magazine (2016-2018). She has appeared as an eating disorder expert on TMJ4's "The Morning Blend" and on CBS. In her work, she truly enjoys working collaboratively with the entire treatment team to offer the highest quality of care for patients and their families that ERC and Pathlight provide.
