Hi, my name is Trey Melancon
I'm your Senior Vice President, Finance

With over 20 years of healthcare finance experience, Trey Melancon serves as Senior Vice President of Finance at ERC Pathlight, overseeing financial operations, FP&A, enterprise applications, information technology, and accounting.

Prior to joining ERC Pathlight, Trey served as Vice President of Finance at Covenant Physician Partners, a large GI and ophthalmology platform spanning 19 states. He played an integral role in the stabilization and growth of the organization, contributing to a successful sale in March 2024. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of financial leadership roles at Surgical Care Affiliates (a division of Optum Health). During his time at SCA, he served as the finance leader for a group of ambulatory surgery centers in the western U.S.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration (Finance) from The University of Alabama.

Trey lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children, Maggie and twins, Bennett and Camille. He enjoys golf, travel, attending his kids’ sporting events, and cheering on the Crimson Tide. Trey’s why: “I enjoy being part of organizations that are working to make a difference in the world.
