Nicole Tallent joined Pathlight Behavioral Health Centers in 2017 as a behavioral health counselor in Chicago’s Partial Hospitalization Program. She has since practiced as a primary therapist and clinical manager in Chicago and most recently transferred to the Washington area as clinical manager of the Mood and Anxiety Adult Residential Program. Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center, Nicole worked at a community mental health agency for adults with chronic mental illness and substance use disorders.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development at Brigham Young University and her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Utah. Her clinical experience and training includes counseling and crisis management with adults, adolescents, groups, and families in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, community-based programs, and with the foster care system. Nicole utilizes a number of evidenced-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Radically-Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Motivational Interviewing to assist patients to move towards values-based goals and healing.
