Allison Chase, PhD, CEDS-S

Regional Clinical Director

Dr. Allison Chase is the Regional Clinical Director for Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center in the Texas Region. Her areas of specialization include child and adolescent mental health, the treatment of eating disorders, parental training and education, and family- or team-based therapy, including advanced training in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor, and her experience expands over 25 years in the field of eating disorder and mental health treatment. In addition, she offers training and ongoing education for other professionals across the U.S. and workshops for professionals, community organizations, and schools. Allison’s memberships include APA, iaedp, AED and Capital Area Psychological Association.

Prior to joining ERC and Pathlight, Allison owned a private group practice, AK Chase & Associates. She also taught undergraduate courses and currently supervises PhD students at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Chase earned her PhD in clinical psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She completed her residency training in Chicago at Rush University Medical Center, in both the departments of psychology and pediatrics, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Austin Child Guidance Center.
