Overview

This 3 hour workshop will address ethics in mental health care as we navigate changes in the care environment during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Specific topics include an overview of ethical guidelines, ethical decision making when referring to a hiring level of care, and when involuntary commitment becomes the ethical choice. Additional discussion will highlight the ethics of virtual care delivery and the transition back to in person care as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
