Navigating Treatment Resistance: The Impact of TMS and Ketamine in Mental Health
November
13
Friday

Many patients do not respond to first- and second-line treatments for depression, leaving limited options for further guidance. Emerging interventional approaches, particularly transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine, show promise in treating resistant depression. To utilize these interventions effectively, the clinician should understand when to recommend them and how to integrate them into the overall treatment plan.
The target audience for this continuing education program is mental health providers and clinicians working with individuals with mental health diagnoses. Materials are appropriate for learners with an introductory level of understanding about mental health concerns.
