More eating disorder support.
Less disruption to college life.
When your client isn’t making enough progress in outpatient therapy, more structure can help stabilize symptoms and move recovery forward—without requiring them to step away from college life.

The first virtual program
for eating disorders
After 10+ years of specialized care, we’ve built a model of care that helps people heal.
Refer a ClientMore than a decade of virtual eating disorder treatment gives our teams a deep understanding of how to deliver structured, connected care remotely.
Afternoon and evening sessions are available in select states to ensure care can fit into busy schedules.
Recharge provides two weeks of focused virtual nutrition support led by registered dietitians, helping clients strengthen eating patterns and build skills they can carry into ongoing outpatient work.
We collaborate with referring providers throughout treatment and support a coordinated transition back to outpatient care.
When to step up care
Your client doesn’t need to be in crisis to benefit from more support. When symptoms are escalating or progress has stalled, our team can help determine whether a more structured level of care is appropriate.
Consider reaching out when:
Mealtimes are becoming increasingly stressful or difficult
Eating disorder thoughts or behaviors are taking up more of their day
They’re withdrawing from classes, relationships or activities
Academic pressure or changing routines are intensifying symptoms
Progress has stalled in weekly outpatient therapy
You’re noticing signs of relapse after previous treatment
You don’t need to determine if VIOP is appropriate for your client. We can provide more information giving your client the support they need.
Virtual care that fits real life
Our virtual intensive outpatient program (VIOP) offers personalized care that adapts to your client's needs.

Have questions?
We have answers.
Do I need to determine the appropriate level of care before referring?
No. A master’s-level clinician will assess your client’s symptoms, treatment history and current needs, then recommend the most appropriate level of care. If you’re unsure whether a referral is warranted, you can discuss the case with our admissions team first.
Can my client participate in virtual treatment from college?
Availability depends on the state where your client will be physically located during treatment. Our admissions team can confirm program availability and help your client understand the schedule, technology and privacy requirements for participating from campus.
Will I remain involved in my client’s care?
We collaborate with referring providers throughout treatment, with the client’s consent. Our goal is to maintain continuity, share relevant updates, and support a coordinated transition back to your care when your client is ready.
What happens after I submit a referral?
Our admissions team will contact your client to learn more about their needs, complete an assessment, verify insurance benefits, and discuss recommended next steps. We’ll also coordinate with you as appropriate throughout the process.
What eating disorders do you treat?
We treat a wide range of eating disorders and related concerns, including:
Anorexia
Atypical anorexia
ARFID
Binge eating disorder
Bulimia
Compulsive overeating
Diabulimia
Orthorexia
OSFED
Treatment can also address co-occurring anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
Do you accept insurance for Virtual IOP?
We’re in-network with most commercial insurance plans. Because coverage varies, our team will verify your client’s benefits, communicate directly with their insurance provider, and explain available coverage before treatment begins.
