Biography

Marisa (she/her) has worked in the eating disorders field for three years as a lived-experience researcher and advocate. She uses her lived experience of eating disorders to inform sex and gender-informed treatment through her work with FEDUP's research and partnerships work. Marisa's research and advocacy interests include the healthcare experiences of people with intersex traits and their families, theology and intersex, and ethical issues in the treatment of eating disorders.
