Marissa (she/her) has been a core team member at FEDUP for a year where she uses her lived eating disorder experience and her identity as an intersex person to support the mission of FEDUP to make visible, interrupt, and undermine the high incidence of eating disorders in trans+, gender diverse, and intersex individuals. Marissa has been involved with intersex advocacy and peer support for nearly ten years. Currently, she also works at interACT: Advocates for Intersex Youth, the largest and oldest intersex advocacy organization in the United States. At FEDUP, Marissa is passionate about working within FEDUP's research and training pod and co-leading FEDUP's monthly intersex support group.
