Biography

Stephanie is a licensed mental health counselor, substance use disorder professional and registered yoga instructor. Stephanie completed her yoga teacher training while in graduate school for counseling psychology and started taking chemical dependency classes after completion of her master’s degree. Stephanie has a background working in community mental health, involuntary inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient addiction recovery programs, school counseling, private practice, and clinical supervision.

Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight, Stephanie worked as the director of an outpatient eating disorder treatment program, and the director of an inpatient substance use disorder and co-occurring treatment program. Stephanie is local to Seattle and regularly spends time with her identical twin and two nieces. She also teaches substance use disorder classes part time at a local community college and graduate program, continues to teach yoga in the community on occasion, and is currently working on her PhD.
