8th Annual Eating Recovery Center Foundation Eating Disorders Conference

Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13, 2016
Denver, CO

It is essential that clinicians working with the high-risk eating disordered population be aware of recent research and developments in the field to plan appropriate and effective courses of intervention. We invite you to join us for the 8th Annual Eating Recovery Center Foundation Eating Disorders Conference. Held at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in beautiful Denver, Colorado, this two-day event explores the research, trends and emerging best practices shaping the field. Learn from and connect with the leaders that develop standards of excellence and drive innovation in the treatment of eating disorders. An interactive educational program supports networking and collaboration among key disciplines in the eating disorders treatment community, including physicians, clinicians, dietitians, nurses and advocacy organizations. Don’t miss this invaluable opportunity to earn up to 16 continuing education credits.

Eating Disorders Information Gateway

The Eating Disorders Information Gateway is a resource that provides a single portal through which the eating disorders community – including patients, families and treatment professionals – can access a variety of materials to advance public understanding of eating disorders. Consolidating and archiving the essential information will minimize search time, maximize transparency, and provide patients, families and professionals with easy access to relevant information.

Eating Disorder Research

The Eating Recovery Center Foundation makes grants to support research in the area of eating disorders with the goal of improving diagnosis, treatment and recovery for patients and families. The foundation also works with The Body Project Collaborative to bring The Body Project to college campuses.

Charitable Care Fund

A Charitable Care Fund will be established to help defray out-of-pocket costs for patients and families, assist with transition out of covered care, or help extend benefits or treatment beyond what is covered by insurance.

Family Programs

The Eating Recovery Center Foundation will develop training programs to help support families of eating disordered patients.
