Eating Recovery Center expands virtual treatment to Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia

February 21, 2024

Eating Recovery At Home, the leading virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) for eating disorders, has expanded access and is now available to those residing in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Eating Recovery Center has provided virtual treatment since 2016 with the same proven outcomes as its renowned in-person eating disorder treatment programs. Led by the industry’s most experienced clinicians, Eating Recovery At Home was recognized as the “Best Online Therapy Service” in 2023 by Health.com, Parents, and Verywell Mind for its multidisciplinary clinical teams and strong clinical provider qualifications; comprehensive, customized care plans; and high patient satisfaction.

"Virtual care provides the same high-quality, evidence-based treatment designed to help patients make significant therapeutic progress not possible in outpatient treatment services from the safety and convenience of their home." said Anne Marie O’Melia, MS, MD, FAAP, Eating Recovery Center Chief Clinical and Quality Officer.

Providing virtual care through programs like Eating Recovery At Home helps expand access to care; provides patients with connection and intensive support; and helps patients navigate stressors and build resilience in everyday life. The program incorporates individual therapy, family therapy, and nutrition counseling.
