Join us at Eating Recovery Center Plano/Dallas for Learn from the Leaders, an in-person education and networking event.  ERC Pathlight thought leaders, Dr. Anne Marie O'Melia, Dr. Ellen Astrachan-Fletcher, Dr. Ovidio Bermudez, Dr. Stephanie Setliff and others, will discuss the state of the science and Data-informed care for mood, anxiety, and eating disorders. The event will include 6.5 CE/CME/CNE credits, food and beverage, and ample opportunity to network with leading clinicians from your area. A portion of the proceeds for this event will go to the ERC Pathlight foundation to provide financial assistance to cover out of pocket treatment costs for qualified patients needing a higher level of care for eating mood and anxiety disorders.

Explore the latest research on brain-based treatments, including ketamine therapy and its applications in eating disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Ethical challenges in current care environments, such as tube feeds and involuntary treatment, will also be discussed.

Dr. Astrachan-Fletcher will delve into working with overcontrolled patients, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Controversies surrounding the use of RODBT in these individuals will be addressed from both provider and patient perspectives, emphasizing the integration of trauma-informed care into practice.

Delve into Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), examining its various presentations and subtypes. The session will highlight how treatment strategies may differ based on presentation, with a case study illustrating a collaborative team approach to ARFID treatment in individuals with neurodiverse brains.
