Sharon Harrison

Director Nursing

Sharon has worked as a registered nurse at ERC since 2016. During this time, she has worked across all the facilities as a floor nurse, charge nurse, regional nurse educator, and most recently the nurse manager at Willow. Sharon has helped with large scale changes within ERC such as rolling out NOVA across the nation. As a member of the American Diabetes Association and the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, Sharon has been ERCs certified diabetic educator for 3 years, a passion fueled by her experience with her son who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 4. Subsequently she has used her experience with eating disorders and her diabetic education to be able to work closely with our diabetic patients across the nation, as well as the medical, nursing, and dietary teams. She has presented twice at the annual ERC conference on the complexity of diabetic management with eating disorders. She also had the opportunity to collaborate and present with ACUTE at their continuing education seminar.

In her free time, she enjoys camping and fishing with her husband and two boys, reading, and vacationing in Mexico.
