Welcome to the Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center social media community! We are so glad that you are here, and we hope that you are able to share and discover information and inspiration through our various social media platforms.

In order to create and maintain a safe space for the folks in our community—healthcare professionals, alumni, prospective patients, caregivers and others—we ask that you carefully review and follow the guidelines that we have established here:

 

Treatment, Recovery and Professional Advice

While the content that we share on our social media platforms is either created or approved by healthcare professionals, please keep in mind that it should not be a replacement for treatment or therapy and should not be perceived as medical or therapeutic advice.

If you are seeking or treatment for an eating disorder, you can call Eating Recovery Center at: 1-877-825-8584.

If you are seeking treatment for a mood or anxiety disorder, you can call Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center at: 1-877-711-1878.

If you are in a life-threatening situation, please call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at: 1-800-273-8255.

 

Social Media is a Public Space

Our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts are public. Any thoughts, questions or comments that you share on the aforementioned platforms can be seen and screenshot by anyone. Be mindful of this when you communicate on these platforms, and know that we cannot be held responsible for any views shared on these platforms other than our own.

 

Stay on Topic and Engage with Compassion and Respect

We strive to create a safe space where the folks in our community feel seen, heard and supported. When you engage with others through our social media platforms, we ask that you stay on topic and communicate your thoughts with compassion and respect.

Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center will not tolerate and reserves the right to remove—while operating within the guidelines of each social media platform—any post or comment that are:

  • Abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others
  • Defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depicting violence
  • References upsetting or distressing subjects
  • Hateful in language targeting race/ethnicity, age, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual preference or orientation, nationality or political beliefs
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, libelous, misleading or unlawful
  • References criminal or illegal activity
  • Violations of any intellectual property rights
  • Spamming in nature
  • Viruses or programs that could damage the operation of other people’s computers
  • Commercial solicitations or solicitation of donations

 

Content Moderation and Response

Our support team aims to read and moderate comments and messages on all of Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center’s social media platforms and respond when appropriate. We monitor Monday – Friday between the hours of 8 AM – 5 PM MT, excluding national holidays. If you use these social platforms to ask us a question outside of the aforementioned time frame, please allow up to 24 hours for a response.

 

Usage of Community Content

If you share on any or all of our social media platforms, you understand that we may reach out to you if we are interested in using your post for social media marketing communications. If you are not interested in having your post shared with the Eating Recovery Center and/or Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center social media communities, please let us know when we reach out to you.
