Team Recovery

In 2016, Eating Recovery Center hosted its inaugural Eating Recovery Day and invited patients, family members, providers of care and community members to support an important mission: to remove stigma, raise awareness and inspire hope for recovery. More than 400 individuals, representing 50 states and parts of Canada, reached out and volunteered to be Recovery Ambassadors and raise awareness and educate their local communities with materials ERC provided.
Since that first Eating Recovery Day, our Recovery Ambassadors have continued to champion the cause through monthly “Missions” they are encouraged to participate in that raise awareness.

We had no idea how many passionate members would continue to join our cause to raise awareness and inspire hope for eating disorder recovery. You have inspired us to create an advocacy program - called Team Recovery - that provides you even more opportunities to customize your own experience, including:

  • Share information about eating disorders
  • Connect with others who are passionate about eating disorder recovery

Join Team Recovery today!

We invite you to sign up for Team Recovery so we can collectively use our voices to spread awareness that can help those in need identify and receive the care they deserve. Full and lasting recovery is possible — and with your help we can get that message out to even more people.
