
Destinee M. Wells is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas with a deep commitment to mental health advocacy, outreach, and education. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clark Atlanta University and is a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
In her role as a Community Outreach Liaison at Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, Destinee partners with local providers, schools, and community organizations to increase awareness of treatment resources and reduce stigma around mental health and eating disorders. With a background in counseling and community-based work, she brings a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens to every conversation.
Destinee’s clinical experience includes providing individual, group, and family counseling with a focus on crisis support, emotional regulation, identity exploration, and strengthening protective factors. She has worked in education, community, and outpatient settings, offering care to youth, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
Destinee is passionate about building bridges between communities and accessible mental health services. Her approach is rooted in authenticity, empathy, and the belief that healing happens in connection with others.
